The mission of the teaching program is to assist students and early professionals in developing proficiency in the provision of psychological services to adolescents in a manner consistent with APA Ethical Standards. TAC adheres to a Practitioner-Scholar training model, with focus of training the interns from a developmental perspective. Once of the most important aspect of the learning environment is to continue to sharpen clinical skills and provide the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and presenting mental health concerns. The students and early professionals are taught evidence-based practices in assessments and interventions. They are instructed on these practices through didactic seminars, individual supervision, and congregation guidance.
